This Week On Pod Theory | Episodes 106-110

This Week On Pod Theory, it’s Episodes 106 thru 110! On these five episodes, I’m covering whether you’re building your podcast like a business or not, a podcasting lesson I discovered while reading ‘Think and Grow Rich,’ what is your credibility catalyst, some simple ways to add value to your brand through your podcast, and if Clubhouse will become a competitor to podcasting. It’s all right here or you can subscribe to Pod Theory wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. Let’s dig in!

Episode 106: Are You Building Your Podcast Like a Business?

When you set out to launch a brand or business, there are some critical items you need to address. Your name, your idea, your marketing strategy, your competition, your target demographic, whether you’re offering a product, service or both…these items just scratch the surface, but you would never even think about starting a business without landing on concrete data to address these items.

So just like building a business from the ground up, a brand podcast should be treated the same. It may just be a piece of the puzzle within the entire brand development strategy you plan to execute, but each segment of your podcast needs attention in order to make the entire production hum when you get ready to go live.

In Episode 106 of Pod Theory, I’m going to share the value of building your podcast like a business. When you put the proper plan into execution, you’ll see big returns on the investments you make in your show…both from a time perspective and a financial perspective.

Episode 107: A Podcast Lesson Discovered In ‘Think and Grow Rich’

Getting what you want from life is all about developing the proper mindset. Mindset will literally make or break anything you want to accomplish. Visualizing what you want and having the desire to go after it regardless of how many times you may fail and suffer setbacks along the way is what truly separates those who succeed and achieve their dreams from those who let negative mindset dictate the terms and settle for defeat…even if victory was just a few feet away.

No book better exemplifies the power of mindset better than Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This time-tested classic has been the quintessential go-to chronicle for grasping the knowledge necessary to fuel your mind and achieve great things. It was originally published in 1937 and over 80 years later, the lessons found within still hold up.

Desire, passion, definiteness of purpose…it doesn’t matter what field you’re in or what you’re ultimate goal is – until you bring these principles into focus, you’ll struggle.

In Episode 107 of Pod Theory, I share some commentary on a recent discovery I made reading Think and Grow Rich for the second time. Again, even though this book was published eight decades ago, there’s a message that applies to podcasting within Hill’s text. It speaks directly to the creativity and imagination needed to pull off a successful podcast.

Episode 108: Pod Theory Condensed – What is a Credibility Catalyst?

In today’s installment of Pod Theory Condensed, I’m going to share some insight on what I’ve dubbed a ‘credibility catalyst.’

A credibility catalyst is something you can refer to that showcases the reliability of an individual or brand. It gives you clarity on what life will be like if you open the door and bring them in. It allows you to experience their level of knowledge on their specialty and helps you make a well-informed decision on whether it’s right to make them part of your initiatives.

With all the bots and scams and complete BS out there looking to rip you off, it’s important you find people to work with who truly believe in giving value and have a background that proves what they bring to the table. This is where a credibility catalyst can be a great resource. Press play to learn more!

Episode 109: 5 Ways to Add Value to Your Brand with a Podcast

The brands that are leading the pack in today’s noisy, competitive, crowded market are the ones that understand that the power leading with value. There are many organizations that are sales-first and sales-only and haven’t caught on that people just don’t respond to that approach the way they used to.

Today’s consumer is much more informed than years past because they have the means of finding out a ton of information about anything they want to invest in. Reviews, recommendations from friends, videos, podcasts, you name it…it’s all at your fingertips.

A podcast is a great vehicle for driving value from your brand to consumers. Your listeners can learn a lot from you because you have a lot to offer. Whenever they learn something, their trust gets deeper. The more they learn, the more they trust. And when it comes time to invest in what you offer, they’ll turn to you because you’ve already brought a ton of value to their lives through your podcast.

In Episode 109 of Pod Theory, I’m sharing five ways you can add value to your brand using a podcast as the means to deliver the message. Each strategy focuses on important aspects of your brand and will help you get the most from your podcast initiatives.
