AS SEEN IN PODNEWS: Stop Saying Podcast Seasons Don’t Work…

The idea that every podcast has to publish a new episode weekly forever and ever is extremely outdated. Yet that expectation still gets pushed in online communities, often without context or consideration for what actually works for you as a creator.

In a recent article published by Podnews, I tackled that exact issue and explained why podcasting in seasons (or series-based) is an effective approach. Especially if you’re a busy business owner or professional who wants to leverage the podcast medium without taking on the responsibilities of a full-time podcaster.

A seasonal or series-based format provides structure, focus, and flexibility. It’s not about doing less work. It’s about doing the right work at the right time. With each season, you create a specific content arc that aligns with your goals. Whether that’s growing your network, establishing thought leadership, or building a campaign around an offer, you’re using your podcast as a strategic tool that elevates your brand.

A lot of my focus on Season 3 of Let’s Blow This Up focused on the seasonal/series-based approach. This is kinda my thing – what I’m focusing on with my podcast production going forward now that Let’s Blow This Up has a strong foundation of podcast tips, strategy, and commentary, as well as how I help my clients build podcast content that serves their brand on numerous levels.

I could go on and on, but here’s a better idea…
